Mark Munro
Director of Operations, Director of Maintenance

Mark founded Steller Air with a passion for floatplanes and a lot of Alaskan experience. Mark has lived in Alaska for over 25 years, first coming from Maine for summer cannery work, then working in journalism and eventually, fishing and piloting. He has been flying since 1987, when he began herring spotting. Along with running an air taxi, Mark fishes salmon Bristol Bay. He lives in Homer with his family year-round.

Stephanie Anderson
Chief Pilot

Stephanie is originally from Minnesota, but has lived in Homer since 2007 when she figured out the winters are a lot warmer here. She has been flying since 1996, in all sorts of places, including the Midwest, Alaska, Chicago, Mexico, Florida, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic; but she’ll never forget the first day she took a floatplane lesson on the Mississippi River. Stephanie originally came to Alaska in 2001 to work in a gold mine, but stayed to be a bush pilot. She also enjoys writing, traveling, wildlife, hiking, and being on the water.

Douglas Epps
Pilot

Doug started flying with his father when he was 12 years old. He and his wife decided to go for an “Alaska Adventure” in the summer of 2000. That’s when Doug started flying floatplanes, and the two of them decided to move out of Southern California to Homer, Alaska.  Doug now has over 7000 hours of total flight time and loves flying, especially in Alaska. He and his wife now winter in Pagosa Springs, Colorado where he is a flight instructor, is involved with the San Juan Flyers, and is on the Airport Advisory Commission. Doug’s other interests include snow skiing, hiking, and playing Zimbabwean style marimbas, another activity he was introduced to in Homer, Alaska.  It’s an awesome place!
